Tutor

 A Year 10 student requires 1:1 intervention in the Bulwell area of Nottingham (NG6). The student is studying towards GCSE's in English, Maths and Science so requires intervention in all three areas. She is predicted Level 3's and 4's so needs a tutor to support her to try and raise her attainment levels.

This student has experienced significant trauma and is particularly vulnerable, so we are looking for a very nurturing tutor who can be sensitive to her needs and build up a positive relationship with her.

If the tuition is successful, this role could continue into next academic year until the student doesn't have a school place. 

She lives in a residential home so the tutoring will take place either in the home, or in Bulwell Library.

We are looking for individuals with the following skills:

• Experience tutoring 1:1 or small groups
• Experience and/or knowledge of Attachment Disorder and the impact this can have on a child's devlopment and relationships
• Confident to implement engaging and creative sessions that motivate the child
• Flexible and versatile to work with a variety of residential staff and multi-disciplinary teams
• Confident to deal with safeguarding concerns as approrpriate
• Able to plan and deliver work independently.
