Job description

1:1 Tutor – Wellingborough Area
Location: Wellingborough and surrounding areas
Job Type: Part-time / Flexible Hours
Setting: Pupil’s Home or School Setting
Working Hours: During School Hours

We are currently recruiting passionate and reliable 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Wellingborough area. This role involves delivering personalised tuition either in a pupil’s home or within a school setting during school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
  • Encourage student confidence, engagement, and academic progress.
  • Adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches to suit different learning styles.
  • Monitor and report on student development where required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or working with young people is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and build positive relationships with students.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
