Job description

1:1 Tutor Needed – Make a Real Impact!

Location: Northampton Area
Hours: Flexible – During School Hours
Pay: Competitive Rates (Based on Experience)


About the Role

We are looking for passionate and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Northampton area in home and school settings.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with learners who need extra support outside of mainstream education and truly make a difference in their academic journey and confidence.


What You’ll Be Doing

✔ Delivering engaging, personalised 1:1 tuition
✔ Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or learning gaps
✔ Planning lessons tailored to individual needs
✔ Encouraging progress, confidence, and motivation
✔ Working closely with schools, families, and professionals


What We’re Looking For

✔ Minimum 2 years UK teaching or tutoring experience
✔ Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
✔ Confident behaviour management skills
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
✔ Patient, reliable, and passionate about education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
