Job Duties:

• Provide English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students
• Deliver outreach support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Create individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English and Maths at Key Stage 3
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Knowledge of various teaching strategies and techniques
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Proficient in using assessment tools to evaluate student progress

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries
• Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external agencies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
