Job description

Experienced Maths & English Tutors Wanted – Make a Real Difference

Are you a passionate and experienced tutor with strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, or both?

We’re looking for dedicated tutors who are ready to go beyond the classroom and help students who need it most. Many of the young people you’ll work with may have experienced significant gaps in their education due to a range of circumstances – including Special Educational Needs (SEN), being Looked After Children (LAC), recent relocations, or other barriers to learning.

What we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ tuition or teaching experience

  • Strong and confident subject knowledge in Maths, English, or both

  • A proven ability to build rapport with children and young people

  • Patience, empathy, and a relentless drive to help every student reach their potential

  • Experience or understanding of working with vulnerable learners or those with additional needs

You’ll be:

  • Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups

  • Creating tailored sessions that bridge learning gaps and rebuild confidence

  • Helping students re-engage with learning in a safe, supportive environment

  • Making a genuine impact on the lives of children who need someone to believe in them

The referrals our Local Authorities pass on to us can vary from 2 to 15 hours per week and can either be in person or online.

If you’re committed to making a difference and believe in the power of education to transform lives, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and be part of something meaningful.
