Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:

• Deliver high-quality English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in the local community
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Provide support and guidance to help students improve their understanding and grades
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share best practises

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum
• Experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the GCSE level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Adaptability and patience when working with students of varying abilities

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
• Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
