Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions
- Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of students
- Provide academic support and guidance to help students improve their grades
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Demonstrated experience in tutoring English and Maths at the GCSE level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring English and Maths at the GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
- Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve academic success
- Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Additional certifications in teaching or tutoring
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
- Work primarily in a learners home or local library
- Potential travel within the East of England region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
