Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.00 per hour

Role Responsibilities:

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a variety of subjects.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups, particularly those needing additional support.
  • Assist in preparing classroom resources and displays.
  • Help monitor student progress and behaviour while maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Receive ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development throughout the year.

This role offers a comprehensive introduction to working in education, with access to CPD sessions and the opportunity to shadow experienced professionals.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Desirable (but not essential):

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
