Teaching Assistants need in Guildford, September start
Are you looking to make a real difference in children's education?
Do you want to work with children who need that little bit of extra support?
If so a role as a Teaching assistant in special education needs school could be for you. Special educational needs schools support children who find it harder to learn than most children of the same age. Because of this, the classes are smaller than a mainstream setting, and the amount of staff around to support is often more.
The role as Teaching Assistant:
- Supporting the children in their play, learning, social activities and on outings.
- Encouraging student's confidence, self esteem and independence
- Helping children understand instructions
- Supporting creative and craft activities, such as painting, drawing and sensory play as well as more structured lesson plans.
- Providing feedback and assistance to teachers.
The role as a teaching assistant is rewarding and varied, each day is a different challenge.
This role is term time and between the hours of 8:30 and 3:30/4:30. Full time, part time and day-to-day supply is available.
If you think this is the role for you, please call Holly on 0118 3271606 for more information.
