A lovely, welcoming mainstream primary school in Waterlooville is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a full-time basis from September.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing school environment where you'll play a key role in supporting pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions, including those with additional learning needs.

The Role:

• Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including children with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school.
• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• A caring, patient and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils and support their academic, social and emotional development.
