Early Years Learning Support Assistant
Location – Whitchurch, Hampshire
Temporary, full time (potentially permanent for the right educator)
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm
Start date: October 2026 or sooner
Daily Pay - £92.63
A lovely school based in Whitchurch is looking for a caring and motivated LSA to join their reception team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LSA looking for a fulfilling role to support children with their learning and development. Experience is desired; however the school are happy to offer training on the job if you are keen to learn and find a role in education.
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience of working in an EYFS setting or willingness to learn/train within the role
- Relevant references
- An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
- An up to date CV outlining education and employment history
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:
- Has a passion for working with children, and helping them improve in character through developing their resilience and mindset
- Is flexible, energetic, resilient and committed to working with all children, including those who may need higher levels of support in order to learn
- Has the creativity to design activities to encourage and engage children
- Knows the importance of keeping children safe
- Is a team player, able to inspire and work in partnership with staff, parents and pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
