Teaching Personnel are looking for an outstanding Teaching Assistant to work with students with Autism.

The role will be working in a Good OFSTED rated school, leading small group work and working on a one to one basis with pupils.

The Role:

  • To be successful you'll need to have confidence, be driven and have a desire to provide guidance and support to the pupils. A minimum of 1 year experience with children with special needs would be advantageous.
  • The role will include working with children with Autism, Asperger's, social emotional and mental health, and pupils with behavioural issues.
  • This is a full time role
  • With market-leading pay starting at £57 per day!

The School:

  • Good OFSTED rating
  • The school has clear values of appreciating the unique contributions that the pupils make to the school;
  • The staff are highly motivated to support the pupils to work to the best of their ability
  • The school are passionate about encouraging a positive learning environment
  • The school is an 'all through' school - ranging from ages 4 - 16

The Candidate:

  • Candidates must have GCSE qualifications grade C and above or equivalent, and the following qualifications will strengthen your application;
    - Team Teach
    - NVQ SEN Teaching Assistant
    - Management of a Classroom
  • The teaching assistant should be enthusiastic in making a difference to pupils' education.
  • Hold a current Child Workforce DBS, on the update service, or have willingness to do one
  • Being versatile and adapting to different situations
  • Ideally immediately available start date
