Science Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working with a school based on the East side of the West Midlands, who are looking for a Science teacher to join their team from Easter 2026 or if not sooner for the right person if they are available.
The school are happy with any Science specialism, with specialisms in Physics, Biology and Chemistry welcome
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons that support student progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics depending on specialism and school needs
-
Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
-
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL students
-
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment with strong behaviour management
-
Contribute to departmental planning and development where required
-
Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
-
Strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A genuine passion for science education and student development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
