Job description

Teaching assistants needed for Tonbridge Secondary schools to support students with educational health care plans and moderate learning difficulties. As a teaching assistant or learning mentor you will be working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis working as part of a special educational needs team in school.

If you are currently working as a teaching assistant and looking to work in a secondary school setting or in another field of health and social care, sports coaching or youth work we welcome your application.

Teaching Personnel work with secondary schools throughout Tonbridge and west Kent.

You will need to have suitable references, a clear passion for working in education and with young people and eligibility for a fully enhanced DBS certificate. The role of a teaching assistant is highly rewarding as you can provide young people with every opportunity to succeed and achieve there expected levels of progress.
