A Specialist Setting located in Rochdale are currently looking to recruit Support Workers who are looking for a career change. If you are currently a Support Worker who is looking for a role with more social able hours this could be the perfect role for you. These positions are permanent and full time and are commencing in September 2019.
The setting is a Secondary Special School in Rochdale who are currently working in partnership with Teaching Personnel. The school currently has 253 pupils enrolled and provides education for pupils with SEN. The school caters for pupils with a range of needs including: pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD) and pupils with profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
The ideal Support Workers will have:
- Behavioural and restraint training (desirable)
- A passion for supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH
- The ability to form positive working relationships
- Experience working with pupils with SEN in some capacity
