1:1 Tutor - Hull (HU1)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to support pupils across Hull (HU1) through personalised tuition sessions.

This rewarding role involves working with children and young people who require additional academic support due to gaps in education, school absence, or additional learning needs. Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.

The Role:

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions based on individual learning needs
• Support pupils across core subjects, including English, Maths, and Science where required
• Adapt teaching strategies to engage learners with varying abilities
• Work with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Track progress and complete session reports after each lesson

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or classroom teaching
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (essential)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: £25-£30+ per hour (dependent on experience)
