About the Role

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Teachers (Qualified & Unqualified) to support specialist SEN schools across Wigan/Bolton and surrounding areas.

You will work in a supportive, small-class environment, helping children and young people develop academically, socially, and emotionally while making a positive difference to their lives.

About the Schools

The schools support children and young people aged 5–18 with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• ADHD and associated behavioural needs
• Sensory processing difficulties

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals who are:

• Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Flexible and able to adapt to different learning and behavioural needs
• Confident working as part of a supportive team
• Experienced in education or SEN (desirable)

For Teachers/SEN TA: Qualified and unqualified applicants are welcome, with relevant education or SEN experience desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
