Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths and English Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to pupils in the Manchester (M2) area.

This rewarding role involves supporting students who require additional help in Maths and English, helping them build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their academic goals. Many pupils may have Special Educational Needs (SEN), therefore experience working with SEN learners is essential.

The Role:

• Deliver tailored 1:1 Maths and English tuition sessions
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Help students improve academic attainment, confidence, and engagement
• Monitor progress and complete session reports after each lesson

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring/teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN (essential)
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Pay: £25-£30+ per hour (dependent on experience)
