About the role

This role has many aspects to it. In the mornings you will be working on a 1:1 basis with a specific pupil, assisting them with their work while adapting your approach depending on their needs. In the afternoon you will be back in the classroom assisting the teacher with general classroom management while working with pupils in small groups.

Ideal Candidate

- Care experience will be an advantage

- Have experience working with children with SEN needs at all levels. Experience with autism is a bonus but not a requirement

- Have a caring nature and has a knowledge of the difficulties you may face while in the role

We are looking for someone who is flexible, can start immediately and must have relevant experience supporting children with special education needs.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
