About the role

-Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistant required

-September start Mon to Fri 830-1530

-Pay rate starts at £89.38 per day

-Each 1:1 role will be unique, but you could be working with pupils anywhere from Year 1-6, with diagnoses of ASD / ADHE / Mental Health / Trauma / Social and Emotional Needs or Physical / Medical needs. We will place you with the pupil that you have the most relevant year group / ALN experience with

About you

-Previous experience of working with children with ALN is essential. 1:1 pupils require a calm, patient and understanding Teaching Assistant who will work with them closely by engaging with their interests to get the most of their potential

-You will be required to hold either a Teaching Assistant qualification or have experience in working with children that we can reference

-Team Teach qualification preferred, not essential

-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
