Who we are looking for

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who are personable, resilient, organised and determined.

No two days are the same . We want people who can work at a pace to turn ‘can’t do’ into ‘want to’ and are motivated by working with children with complex needs. You will be motivated by your belief that every child can achieve and reach their potential. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children in a calm and engaging demeanour, whilst being resilient using an innovative style of teaching motivated by your belief that every child can achieve and reach their potential.

About the Role:

Initially, you will work with the teachers and Senior Leadership Team to provide essential support to pupils who have special educational needs. You will build positive relationships with pupils to promote interaction and a constructive learning environment, as well as assist the class teacher and other education staff with learning activities. Work is often carried outside of the classroom environment.

The school caters for children aged 3 to 19. They are a specialist SEN school based in Bournemouth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
