Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting supportive, passionate Teaching Assistants based in the Nottinghamshire area (NG22) who are looking for full time permanent roles, part time and day to day roles.

Teaching Assistants are wonderful additions to the education sector. The role entails supporting students throughout their time at school to achieve their full potential. You will assist the class Teacher and provide effective differentiation based on the needs of the children and support students within the community on excursions. Day to day you would attend lessons across the curriculum with students providing effective support whilst ensuring all students can access the curriculum.

An ideal candidate would have;

  • An empathetic and calm nature
  • Effective communication skills
  • The ability to identify effective support mechanisms for students
  • GCSE Maths and English minimum of A-C grade
  • Experience working with children
  • A Passion for teaching and learning
  • The ability to inspire others
  • Resilience
  • Experience working with vulnerable children or adults
  • Own transport or access to public transport
  • Have a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for this
  • Personal experience of supporting others with Special Educational Needs including ASC, SEMH and ADHD
  • Child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for this
