Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistant's to join our dedicated supply team to work in primary schools across the Maidstone area. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be expected to work in a variety of classes ranging from the EYFS to KS2. These roles will begin at the start of the new academic year in September, as long as the schools reopen on time after the current closures.

The role

The desired Teaching Assistants will be working across multiple Key Stages and support children in the form of group activities and also on a 1-1 basis.

The school

Teaching Personnel have worked with primary schools for more than 10 years, working across the whole of Maidstone and East Kent. We cover schools in Aylesford, Malling, Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Medway, Borden and Sittingbourne.

Requirements To be considered for the position of Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning in Schools.
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary environment.
• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Ideally have experience delivering primary lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
