Every member of staff plays a crucial role in ensuring children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn every day.

The leadership team are hands-on and expect Teaching Assistants to share their drive for progress, professionalism, and consistency. In return, you’ll be fully supported, valued as part of the team, and encouraged to continually develop your skills.

  • Encouraging language, social, and emotional development

  • Assisting with phonics, early number work, and creative sessions

  • Following routines for snack, toileting, and outdoor play

  • Supporting behaviour management and positive reinforcement

  • Contributing to observations and recording progress

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in EYFS or Nursery settings (school-based experience preferred)

  • Confident, consistent, and proactive in managing routines and expectations

  • Nurturing but firm, able to set clear boundaries

  • Organised and reliable, with strong attention to detail

  • Professional and adaptable, able to follow the school’s policies and ethos

  • Committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential

Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Education are desirable, but experience and attitude are equally valued.

Location & Transport

The school is based in CF24, easily accessible by public transport and with parking for drivers.
