Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day, dependent on experience (paid weekly)

Are you a confident Welsh speaker looking to begin or develop your career in education? We are currently working with welcoming primary schools across Cardiff seeking enthusiastic, unqualified Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants for full-time, part-time, and flexible roles.

You will work closely with class teachers to help create an engaging and supportive learning environment, supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons through the Welsh language
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
• Assist with basic literacy and numeracy development
• Prepare classroom materials and learning resources
• Encourage positive behaviour and active participation
• Support pupils’ confidence, wellbeing, and independence
• Assist with general classroom organisation and supervision

What We’re Looking For:

• Confident Welsh speaker (spoken essential, written desirable)
• Passionate about working with children
• Friendly, patient, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and take guidance from teaching staff
• Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
• Availability for full-time, part-time, or flexible work
