We are currently working with a Specialist School in Fulford, York who are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work closely with Key Stage 1 and 2 students displaying challenging behaviour. If you're looking for a new role and have experience working in one of the following, you will be the ideal candidate.
- SEN schools
- Pupil Referral Units
- Behaviour Management
- Teaching/Learning support Assistance
- Autism Awareness
- The Military
- Sports Coaching
As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to;
- Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Ensure all pupils are supported and able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson
- Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social)
- Assist with the planning and preparation of activities
- Manage challenging pupil behaviour
- Coordinate specific areas of teaching support (dependent on experience)
Pay rates: £54-£65/day
Contract: Full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent positions
