Job Description:
Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary school in Sutton Coldfield who are looking to take on Teaching Assistants to work on a general basis. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for students. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Assisting in behaviour management within the classroom
- Adapting to the individual needs of students to ensure their educational progress
- Building positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
Required Qualifications:
Qualified to degree level and possess a Teaching Assistant Qualification
Education:
Degree in relevant field, relevant TA Qualification, A-Level
Experience:
Prior experience working in an educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of the Secondary school curriculum
- Experience in providing SEN support
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in relevant areas are an advantage
Working Conditions:
This is a Full-Time temporary role with potential for long-term placement. The successful candidate will work in a Secondary school setting in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
