KS1 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role (ASAP Start) Southampton
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school to recruit a KS1 Teaching Assistant for a full-time position until the end of the academic year.
This role is ideal for an experienced and passionate educator who has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and enjoys supporting young learners during this crucial stage of their development. The school is seeking someone who can start as soon as possible and confidently support pupils both in and out of the classroom.
The Role:

Full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant position
-
Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
-
Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required
-
Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Has previous experience working within Key Stage 1
-
Is confident in their knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
-
Is patient, proactive and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
-
Works well as part of a team and can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
