Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant in Soham. The school will provide the right candidate with an enjoyable and fully supportive environment, which would enable the candidate to make a real positive impact on the education of the pupils.

The position would be ideally suited for an experienced Teaching assistant - or a newly qualified teaching assistant who is looking to expand their knowledge and skillset in a primary school environment.

The duties of the role would include but not be limited to

• Upholding the values of the school at all times
• Aiding with the set up of the classroom
• Maintaining high levels of health and safety over the pupils
• Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class
• Support Pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis
• Prepare various resources for the teacher
• Run intervention groups to raise attainment

The ideal candidate would have:

• Experience working in a Teaching Assistant role
• Safeguarding qualifications (Desired not essential)
• Teaching assistant qualifications (Level 2 certificate)
• High level of organisational skills
• A hard working and positive attitude to all aspects of work
• Experience in both KS1 & KS2
