*Teaching Assistant - Oldham - Full time*

Do you have experience working in secondary schools or supporting young people in a similar capacity?

Maybe you are a recent graduate who is seeking further experience in a secondary school setting before enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme….

Teaching Personnel are working alongside an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Oldham who require additional numbers in their support team in the form of Teaching Assistants. This is a full time position and will be ongoing until at least the academic year, however the school have expressed an interest of securing the incoming Teaching Assistant on a permanent contract in September if both parties were happy with the agreement. The school would like to see potential Teaching Assistants at the earliest convenience, so those interested in this position are advised to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Our client school is located in the heart of Oldham, a short distance from Royal Oldham Hospital and is easily accessible by both own car or public transport with major links to the city centre a short walk away from the school. In terms of facilities, the school is excellent and has a very modern building with excellent provisions for teaching and learning within every department in the school. The school was graded 'Good' across the board in it's most recent Ofsted report and this is reflected in the excellent results for it's pupils as well as the outstanding reputation in the local community due to the supportive environment within the school for both staff and pupils. The incoming Teaching Assistant will be joining a very welcoming team where they will be offered further training opportunities as well as every chance of career progression.

  • Full time position as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis
  • Working within a modern secondary school in Oldham graded 'Good' by Ofsted
  • Paid up to £325 a week, dependent on experience and responsibilities
  • Joining a very supportive and welcoming department
