Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: NP25

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in primary schools across the NP25 area. This role suits someone with a hands-on approach, a strong work ethic and the confidence to get involved from day one.
You will be working across all primary age groups, including Early Years, and providing 1:1 support where required.
The Role
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Provide 1:1 support when needed
- Assist teachers with classroom activities
- Help manage a busy classroom environment
- Support learning, behaviour and engagement
- Step in where needed and take initiative
- Follow school routines and expectations
What Schools Are Looking For
- Proactive and reliable
- Confident working with children of different ages
- Able to use initiative without constant direction
- Comfortable in fast-paced classrooms
- Strong “get up and go” attitude
- Experience with children helpful but not essential
- Willing to support pupils with additional needs
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
