Job description
Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant – Year 4 (Full-Time)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary school, working full-time within a Year 4 classroom.
This role is classroom-based and focuses on supporting teaching and learning across the whole class. While the position is not a dedicated ALN role, there are two pupils with Additional Learning Needs within the class, so applicants must be confident and comfortable providing appropriate support when required.
Key responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities

Working with small groups and individual pupils as needed

Providing inclusive support to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum

Assisting with classroom organisation and behaviour management
-
Promoting a positive, nurturing learning environment through the medium of Welsh
Essential requirements:

Fluent Welsh speaker (spoken and written)
-
Previous experience working in a primary school setting
-
Confidence supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs
-
A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach to classroom work

Weekly pay: £446.90
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role within a supportive school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
