Primary Teaching Assistant
Our mainstream Primary School in Liverpool, L18, is very committed to making a difference and supporting children from all backgrounds. They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant to help with daily teaching and support of a Year 1 Class. This will be for when schools re open or September 2020.
The successful candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic and eager to support wherever needed
- Able to give pupils confidence to believe their own potential and achieve their goals
- Flexible and adaptable
- Able to work well in stressful situations
The Role
- Full time, long term
- Monday - Friday
- Hours 8:30am - 3:30pm
- GBP10 - GBP11 per hour
Having experience as a Teaching Assistant is desired but not essential, and also experience working with KS1 or KS2 children. Candidates who have any previous experience working with children in any capacity, either in their personal life or through previous volunteering, coaching or tutoring will also be considered. In addition to this, anyone with experience working with Special Educational Needs who are interested in working with children are also wlecome to apply.
We are looking for the right person to start from September, working between the hours of 8:30-15:30 Mon-Fri and have potential for a permanent placement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
