Teaching Assistant

TA with SEN experience to work in 'Good' Louth School

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting TAs with experience working with small groups of children or 1:1 to work in a 'Good' school in Louth. The school educates children with a range of SEN and SEMH conditions who require strong engagement to ensure they stay focused and on task.

The role

• You will be working to lead small group and 1:1 sessions with pupils inside the school.
• The role will mostly focus on core subjects t make sure pupils leave with the skills they need to thrive after their education.
• You are expected to the pre-planned work in a professional manner and to work as a collaborative team.

About you as the ideal candidate

• The best candidates will be able to show an aptitude for working with a range of SEN pupils, in a mix of environments

• You could also have some additional skills that would stand you in good stead, such as Team Teach or Makaton.

• You might also have experience working with SEMH pupils outside a traditional educational setting and this could be of interest.

To be considered you must have:

• A valid enhanced DBS check or be willing to have one through Teaching Personnel.

• You will be able to provide 2 references and a 6 year working history.
