Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Little Lever | Start Date: September

This school is committed to giving every child the tools and support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. They are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dedicated team from September.
About the Role
As a HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons across a variety of subjects. Your key responsibility will be to provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, both inside and outside the classroom. You’ll also play an active role in lesson planning, classroom preparation, and creating a positive learning environment that helps every student reach their full potential.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering well-structured and engaging lessons
- Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to pupils
- Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Address students’ emotional and well-being needs as they arise
- Assist with planning, resource preparation, and tracking student progress
- Deliver interventions for pupils with additional or specific needs
- Maintain effective communication with teachers, staff, and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
