Teaching Assistant

I am looking for a Teaching Assistant around the Lincoln area for general cover in local primary schools. The positions will be on a temporary basis, covering short and long term cover with the potential view for a permanent position.

The candidate should have:

• A Teaching Assistant qualification of Level 2 or higher
• At least 6 months of experience of supporting in primary schools, through either paid or voluntary work
• Experience with the preparation and implantation of learning plans
• The right attitude towards learning and development
• Want to effectively support pupils to allow them to achieve the schools desired outcomes

It would be desirable if the candidate has:

• Experience of working on a 1:1 or small groups basis, providing interventions to improve academic performance
• Experience of supporting SEN pupils
• Excellent behavioural management
• Additional training and qualifications such as Team Teach and Moving and Handling
