Long-term Teaching Assistant Required – Earlsfield – September 2025 Start

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated, kind and resilient Teaching Assistant to take on a full-time, long-term role in a primary school in the Earlsfield area. We require somone willing to be very hands on and put their all in. The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including those with complex behavioural, emotional, and learning difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA or someone with a background in SEN or care work, who is confident working with high-needs children and thrives in a structured, nurturing environment. 

The Role 

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
• Assist in implementing EHCP targets and behaviour management strategies
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
• Foster positive relationships and encourage pupils’ emotional and academic development
• Remain calm, patient, and consistent in the face of challenging behaviour
• Show warmth, understanding, and kindness in all interactions with pupils

Who We're Looking For 

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND and/or behavioural needs is desirable, but not essential
• A calm, compassionate and kind approach
• Strong communication and team-working skills
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils and helping them succeed
• Availability to commit to a full-time, long-term position
