Primary School Teaching Assistant – NG12 Area
Full-time / Part-time | Term Time Only
Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and development? Teaching Personnel is currently working closely with a welcoming primary school in the NG12 area to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a school environment and wants to play a key role in helping pupils thrive both academically and socially.
About the Role:
-
Supporting teachers in the classroom across a range of year groups
-
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including children with additional learning needs
-
Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom activities
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a supportive learning space
-
Helping pupils to engage and enjoy their learning
What We’re Looking For:
-
Someone with a kind, patient and enthusiastic attitude
-
Experience working with children is desirable (this could include volunteering or childcare roles)
-
A good communicator who works well in a team
-
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is a bonus, but not essential
-
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
