Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education, child development, or mental health?

Teaching Personnel is working with a number of Nottingham-based primary schools who are eager to welcome dedicated and enthusiastic psychology graduates into Teaching Assistant roles.

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates who are:

• Considering a career in education, educational psychology, or child psychology

• Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs

• Looking to gain classroom-based experience ahead of further study or teacher training

Role Overview:

• Supporting students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs

• Working 1:1 or in small groups to boost academic engagement and emotional development

• Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and lesson delivery

• Building strong relationships to make a lasting, positive impact

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology (or related subject)

• A genuine interest in education and child development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and patient approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
