Maths and English Tutor (1:1 Support)
Location: Nottingham (NG2 and surrounding areas)
Are you passionate about helping young people succeed in Maths and English? We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Maths and English Tutors to deliver 1:1 personalised tuition to students of varying ages and abilities.
Whether you're a qualified teacher, an experienced tutor, or someone with a strong academic background in Maths and English, this flexible role offers the chance to make a real difference.
What You’ll Do:
As a tutor, you’ll provide one-to-one support tailored to each student’s individual needs, helping to build confidence, fill learning gaps, and foster a love of learning. Your sessions will have a direct impact not only on academic achievement but also on students’ motivation and self-esteem.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong subject knowledge in both Maths and English
-
Experience working with students (in education, tutoring or similar roles)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, flexible and encouraging teaching approach
-
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners' wellbeing
-
QTS or tutoring experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
