Salary: £83 – £95 per day

Teaching Personnel is working with inclusive and nurturing Primary and SEN schools in NG18 who are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.

Role Overview:

• Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties

• Provide in-class support and tailored interventions

• Support the social, emotional and academic progress of children

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and parents to ensure pupil development

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs

• Patience, empathy and resilience in challenging situations

• A background in care, early years, psychology or education is advantageous

• A strong desire to help pupils reach their potential

You’ll receive full support and opportunities for professional development, with routes into permanent roles and further training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
