Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs (Full Time) | Location: CB24 area| Start: ASAP or after half-term| Contract: Full time | Temp to Perm

We’re working with a modern, purpose-built special needs school supporting children and young people aged 3–19 with a wide range of learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key part in supporting pupils with dysregulation, complex needs, and challenging behaviours.
You’ll:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
  • Work flexibly across different classes and age groups
  • Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver meaningful interventions and learning opportunities

About You

You’ll be someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEN and/or challenging behaviours
  • Is calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
  • Can adapt quickly and think on your feet
  • Works well as part of a dedicated, supportive team
  • Is passionate about helping every child grow, learn, and thrive
  • (Bonus) Confident in supporting personal care if required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
