Job description

We are currently hiring Teaching Assistants to work in a North East Manchester Primary Specialist Support School.

Your role would be to assist a classroom Teacher with engaging and educating students with additional behavioural/ emotional/ complex needs to help develop and nurture their social and personal skills.  

You will work with the school to create an environment of encouragement and reward that will enhance their school experience and inspire hard work and self-belief.  

The ideal Teaching assistant for this role MUST have:

-          Experience working with young people.  

-          A Caring disposition

-          Full availability during school hours: Monday- Friday 8.30- 15.30.

Not required but preferred:

-          Experience working with Primary School Students with additional behavioural needs.

-          Hard working and proactive.

This role is subject to standard vetting checks including:

-          References for employment within the last two years.

-          Safeguarding training.

-          DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
