Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bournemouth this January. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a supportive team in a rewarding and fulfilling role.

The Role:

• Supporting students with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties)

• Working one-to-one or in small groups to provide targeted support

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and behaviour management

• Encouraging student engagement and emotional well-being

• Helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

About You:

• Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)

• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in child development

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
