The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons
- Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and social development
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals

- Is patient, resilient, and empathetic
- Has experience working with children with behavioural or additional needs
- Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Is a strong team player with good communication skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
