Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently taking applications in order to recruit for a number of Teaching Assistant roles at our client secondary schools that are located in Boston from September 2019.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants that are looking to secure their next role or for Graduates that now wish to gain experience in a secondary school setting before embarking upon a teacher training programme.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistants required.
  • Competitive pay with earning potential of up to ÂŁ1400 a month.
  • Candidates of all experience levels to be considered - Support and training provided through Teaching Personnel.
  • Must hold or be willing to apply for a Child Enhanced DBS that is registered to the update service.
  • September 2019 start date.

Who should apply for this role?

Teaching Assistant roles are perfect for Graduates that are looking to build their experience within a supportive secondary school prior to completing their teacher training in the future. This role is also ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants who are looking to secure a full-time position with progression opportunities and the potential to earn a permanent contract.

What will the role involve?

  • Providing support to the class teacher - Assisting with the management of student behaviour.
  • Working alongside students in class ensuring they are able to complete the work set by the class teacher and supporting them where necessary.
  • Working alongside pupils on a 1:1 basis, in and out of class to better the outcomes for each student.
  • Providing support to groups of identified students who may require additional support to achieve their target grades.
