Are you an individual seeking valuable experience in a Secondary school setting? Do you have any previous experience supporting pupils aged 11-16 with additional learning support?

If so, a Secondary school in the Blackburn area would love to hear from you!

We are keen to find a strong candidate to support in their professional development, this role would be on a full-time basis.

About the role:

The successful individual will have a caring and nurturing approach to working with children and will be able to work with small groups of pupils for intervention support. You will be able to work as part of a team and can work independently and use your initiative. You will undertake activities and assist in monitoring pupil progress, and you will develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils and staff.

1:1 will be a large part of the role so this is important you feel happy and comfortable in doing so.

Job role: Teaching Assistant

Hours: Full-time

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Start date: April 2022

End date: September 2022 (possibility for extension)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
