Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team at a secondary school in Birmingham City Centre. The successful candidate will be passionate about the learning and progress of students and have experience working with students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with students in small group sizes and be able to work alongside class teachers to implement the planning and organising of lessons that are engaging and follow the curriculum specification.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
- Relevant experience working in KS3 and KS4.
- DBS certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Willing to work with students with challenging behaviour.
- Class control and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the class teacher during lessons.
- Have vast knowledge and understanding of the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students progress across the academic year.
- Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
