COVER SUPERVISOR- BIRMINGHAM SECONDARY SCHOOL- FULL TIME HOURS- ASAP START
Teaching Personnel are in collaboration with an OFSTED rated "Good" School in Birmingham (B36) to help support their recruitment of a dedicated cover supervisor on a full time basis.
The school are looking for a passionate individual who:
- has previous experience working as a cover supervisor or in a similar role within schools
- can command a whole classroom of students and has a strong classroom presence
- can manage challenging behaviour effectively and escalate concerns appropriately
- can deliver pre-set lessons/materials to pupils within a secondary school
- does not mind covering all different subjects across the curriculum, finding joy in having a different day, every day!
- be professional and reliable at all times
- has a "can do" attitude and uses own initiative within the school environment
- will leave each classroom in a tidy, respectful and clean manner, in preparation for the next lesson
The school itself is fully equipped with state of the art equpiment and sports facilities in particular! It is renowned for its community feel and positive, friendly atmosphere upon arrival.
Cover supervisors play an integral part in maintaining consistency for the pupils to ensure continuity of learning which helps them keep progressing in a positive direction. Having a consistent cover supervisor will also have a positive impact upon behaviour and academic results, meaning if you are ready to commit to this role, you will be making a fantastic difference to the lives' of so many children and young people within this secondary school!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
