Teaching assistant required in Plumstead for KS2 students!

Pay in range of £60-75 depending on experience.

Start date will be 19/02/2018 after the spring half term.

One of our more popular schools in the borough of Greenwich is currently recruiting for a TA. The school has been working directly with us for a few years and are after a full-time long-term TA who can work with a few pupils with challenging behaviour in a KS2 class. The school is located just 5 minutes from Plumstead station and has excellent routes from surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate would be someone who can assist in the day-to-day operations and specifically in helping the teacher manage with a few pupils with challenging behaviour. Some of the key skills we are looking for are: patience, interpersonal skills, desire to help and organisation. You may be required to assist in a variety of classes across KS2 if you pass your probation period. Due to the nature of this role it is essential for the candidates to have experience working with challenging behaviour. SEN TA's are welcomed as the role would require the TA to have a nurturing personality and passion to assist the pupils in developing their behaviour.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
